Lastly, what kind of yoga I teach. I am a certified yoga instructor under the teaching of David Vendetti and Todd Skogland. My practice is derived from the yogi lineage of B.K.S Iyengar, today, often referred to as Iyengar Yoga. This practice emphasizes detail, precision, and alignment in the performance of yoga postures. My teaching style has been adapted from my teachers and the Iyengar lineage. Yoga links movement with breath which should be a beneficial, even healing process. I focus on the foundation of body alignment, putting students into poses and creating actions that benefit the body’s structure, additionally allowing for a softening in the mind.
